?What to Choose?

There's too many topics to choose from. However, I have been doing some research as to which subject I should choose and commit to. I asked my family on their opinions on what I should do. They recommended research on stress fractures in the back(since I got one four weeks ago) and choose a college I would like to look into(since college searching season is starting). I also realized that researching something I love, dancing, would be fun.
So I did some research into what I can possibly research in the future. The website http://orthoinfo.aaos.org/topic.cfm?topic=a00053 to get a basic understanding of what a stress fracture is. I found out that the medical term for a stress fracture is spondylolysis. I also realized that I was lucky to ask my doctor about my on and off back pains for the past 6 months to get an x-ray while it was still in the early stages. It would be interesting to see how I can improve my back.
I decided to start on a simple Cal Poly San Louise Obispo, since my father thought that it was a good school for me. Their school website http://www.calpoly.edu/ gives you a bunch of links to different colleges within the school. Their options include college of agriculture, food, & environmental science, college of architecture & design, college of engineering, college of liberal arts, college of business, and college of science & mathematics. My only problem was that there were way too many things to branch off into. Doing this topic will be like killing 2 birds with 1 stone.
Don't tell my mom, but I haven't been able to stop myself from dancing every day even though I have a stress fracture in my back restraining me. So I thought maybe the history of dancing would be fun. I realized that dancing goes very far back in history, so choosing one genre of dancing would be better. I got my first taste on a summary of dancing from  http://www.historyworld.net/wrldhis/PlainTextHistories.asp?historyid=ab82 to get a basic understanding of it. I realized how spiritual and cultural dancing was in the beginning of time, compared to modern dance. It would be interesting to see what this subject holds in the future.
